Additionally, the revival of 68 rivers and thousands of water bodies has brought about improved ground water levels and benefitted 34.5 million people in 12,077 villages. In terms of promoting cleanliness and hygiene, 43,980 cleanliness drives, 90,200 hygiene camps, and 27,427 medical camps have been held, positively impacting 5.6 million people. Moreover, 62,000 toilets have been built, 3,819 homes, 1,200 bore-wells, and 1,000 bio-gas plants have been constructed to improve the lives of rural communities. To empower the youth, 309,674 individuals have been trained in vocational and entrepreneurship skills and 720 villages have been electrified through renewable energy sources, benefiting 165,000 people. Additionally, 235,950 rural youth have received leadership training and have launched various development projects in 70,000 villages. Through de-radicalization programs, 7,400 armed insurgents from extremist-affected regions have renounced violence and integrated into mainstream society. Lastly, 2.2 million farmers and youths from 22 states have been trained in natural farming practices.
